Identifying guidelines of caffeine from all guideline making bodies in Europe and beyond: A survey to support an update and contextualization of WHO guidelines

Cochrane Sweden in close collaboration with the Swedish Neonatal Society, WHO Europe, the GRADE Working Group, and the Guideline International Network (GIN) would like to contact you for a survey!

Guidelines on medical management are an important part of our everyday practice. In many difficult situations, it is important to have a clear scheme of what to do and how to treat the patient. Guidelines are also important because of the legal consequences of our actions and decisions taken.

The project aims to create reliable recommendations for using caffeine in premature infants using the GRADE Evidence-to-Decision and Adolopment-system.

The impact of this project could be significant, potentially improving the care and outcomes for premature infants worldwide. The basis for the guideline will be a recently published guideline from the WHO. Still, additional guidelines from other organizations addressing caffeine are needed to complement the WHO guidelines and address all relevant questions.

Therefore, you are asked to identify any relevant guidelines addressing caffeine that you know of. This may require some time and effort, and your contribution is truly appreciated!

You can access the survey to identify current guidelines from here.
