Invitation to join the new Special Interest Group (SIG) on the Neonatal Kidney

We are initiating a new SIG, with focus on the neonatal kidney, under the umbrella of the clinical pharmacology section.

This is at present an underexplored territory within the ESPR community, while relevant for clinical pharmacology, hemodynamics, nutrition or epidemiology, amongst many other. The short-term focus will be to establish a collaboration with the European Paediatric Nephrology Society, which is also taking an initiative in this area.

We believe that merging expertise and strengths on both sides is the way to go to create a European Research Community and awareness on this topic.

We intend to have a start up meeting later this calendar year.
