NEOship Workshop on 3 - 4 November 2023 in Regensburg

Connecting Professions in Paediatric Simulation

With high-fidelity simulation technology in realistic scenarios, the NEOship workshop is setting new standards in interprofessionalism, competency acquisition, and quality. 

Based on the concept of the European School for Neonatology (ESN) and under the patronage of the German Society for Perinatal Medicine (DGPM), participants from nursing and medical professions will be trained by recognized experts in the initial care and resuscitation of extremely premature infants and critically ill infants, in cardiac ultrasound diagnostics, and in modern ventilation management. Accompanying hands-on exercises, workshops, lectures, and a social evening will complement the two-day program.

This first NEOship event is jointly organized by the pediatric network of children's clinics in Regensburg, Passau, and Munich, and under the professional guidance of Dr. Gellner (Passau), Dr. Florian Langhammer (Regensburg), and Prof. Sven Wellmann (Regensburg), it will be held at the new and state-of-the-art Simulation Center of the Bavarian Red Cross in Regensburg.
