ARI 2022 Call for Proposals

The Editors-in-Chief of Pediatric Research announce the topic of the 2022 Annual Review Issue, entitled "Inflammation and Sepsis."
Sepsis remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality in children. In this Annual Review Issue, basic mechanisms, diagnostic techniques, and interventions of this disorder will be explored.
 
Letters of intent should include a proposed title and be sent to info@pedres.org. Deadline for proposals: December 1st, 2020
Please include "ARI 2022 Proposal" in the subject line.
 
 
2021 Editor Apprenticeship Program
 
The Editors-in–Chief of Pediatric Research announce their third year of the Editorial Apprenticeship program.
This program is designed for early career investigators to gain experience and develop skills necessary for membership on an editorial board. Dr. Bearer and Dr. Molloy will be selecting two individuals each year to participate in this new program. The selectees will be invited to join the Editorial Board meeting at the virtual PAS meeting and/or in Athens during jENS. It is recommended that candidates have leadership experience and be familiar with the publication process.
 

In addition, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Academic rank at the Associate Professor Level or higher
  2. Has published more than 25 peer reviewed articles
  3. Has reviewed for Pediatric Research (Alternately: has reviewed more than 10 articles)
