Invitation to participate in an International Survey on Periviable Infants

An international survey is being conducted regarding the management of periviable infants born at 22–23 weeks' gestation. The aim of this survey is to better understand current clinical practices across different countries and to identify future research priorities in this field.

The survey includes questions on delivery room management, respiratory and circulatory management, neurological care, nutritional strategies, and other NICU practices for infants born at 22–23 weeks' gestation.

The questionnaire takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, and all responses will be anonymised. Responses are requested by May 31, 2026.

The Research Ethics Committee of Saitama Medical Center, Saitama Medical University determined that ethical review was not required for this survey because it assesses institutional-level clinical practices and does not collect any patient-level or personal information.

Participation in this survey would be greatly appreciated.
