12th Dresden Symposium together with the ESPR-Spring School on 12-13 March 2021

A joint virtual meeting between the Saxony Center for Feto/Neonatal Health & the ESPR

The 12th Dresden Symposium (12 March 2021), together with the ESPR Spring School (13 March 2021), provides a platform for intensive exchange between clinicians and scientists who are interested in Delivery Room Management.

The meeting has become the kick-off of the academic year for clinicians and researchers who are interested in improving care of new-borns. In order to cope with the current situation, we decided to have this year's meeting within a virtual surrounding.

To cover a broad range of relevant topics, distinguished speakers will present current scientific data and share their practical experience on the following topics:

  • Prenatal Medicine meets Neonatology.
  • Overview of current practice in the delivery room.
  • Experimental data on perinatal transition challenging current held beliefs.
  • A look in the future of delivery room management.
  • The new guidelines on delivery room management.
  • Young investigators present their research projects.

To make the symposium as interactive as possible, the online meeting is restricted to 100 participants. There will be no charge, however, you are required to register via If you are not available on the 12 March, you will have the opportunity to watch the recording of the meeting thereafter.

Despite the challenges of the current times, we are proud to offer you a great selection of courses pertinent to optimal perinatal management and quality improvement.

As always, we are interested to provide the opportunity for intensive discussions. Therefore, the number of participants is restricted to 12 per online course.

The Spring School is free of charge for ESPR-members but there will be a participation fee of 10 Euro for non-ESPR members.
