Basic neonatal cranial ultrasound course by the ESPR EurUS.Brain SIG on 10 May 2025

Do you want to gain basic knowledge on cranial ultrasound in the preterm and term neonate? Then take the chance and register for the upcoming basic neonatal cranial ultrasound (CUS) course on Saturday, 10th May 2025 (09h00 - 14h15 CET) organised by the ESPR EurUS.Brain Special Interest Group (SIG). The course will be held online via Zoom.

The course will introduce you to the ultrasound and doppler ultrasound technique, present the standard views that should be obtained, and teach you how to optimise your scanning settings to obtain the best possible images.

Course lectures will cover important disease entities in the neonatal period, such as: intraventricular haemorrhage and haemorrhagic infarction, white matter injury, birth asphyxia, and posterior fossa abnormalities.

Target groups:

The course is targeted towards neonatal unit staff who want to learn the essential skills to perform bedside neonatal cerebral ultrasound scanning, incl. pediatricians, neonatologists, radiologists and other specialists, as well as trainees.

Course fee/registration:

Course fee: 100,00 EUR (for ESPR members the course fee is reduced to 90,00 EUR)
