Call to join the jENS 2027 Scientific Committee

In 2027, the ESPR will organise its annual meeting – the joint European Neonatal Societies (jENS) Congress - in Bilbao Spain.

With the first preparations already under way, we are looking for a motivated society member to join the jENS 2027 Scientific Committee. Under the leadership of ESPR Scientific Committee Chair / ESPR Vice-President Prof Ana Alarcon Allen, your role would be to:

• Provide expert input to help shape the organisation and scientific programme of jENS 2027.
• Participate in monthly committee calls and respond to related correspondence.
• Attend the in-person abstract review meeting.
• Contribute to additional tasks as required.

We are seeking a candidate able to demonstrate long-term commitment, with an interest in succeeding Prof. Alarcón Allen as jENS ESPR Scientific Committee Chair in 2029.

• Why you would like to join the jENS 2027 Scientific Committee, and
• Your ideas for ensuring a successful and impactful congress.
