Meet the awardees of the Roland R. Wauer Award 2024

The 'Roland R. Wauer Award' is dedicated to Professor Dr med Roland R. Wauer - Neonatologist, scientist, teacher and visionary. The award enables medical students to spend 1-2 months in a neonatal clinic in Europe that excels in clinical care and strong research.

We would like to warmly congratulate this year's two awardees: Aleksandra Skubisz and Aylin Kuru!

Aleksandra will spend 10 weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, IRCCS Istituto Giannina Gaslini, in Genoa, Italy. To find out more about her internship, click on the image below to view a short video of her or dive into her experiences during her clinical stay via her Instagram account:
