Mentored Review Programme - a collaboration between PR & SPR & ESPR
We are excited to announce our Mentored Review Programme, a collaboration between the Pediatric Research journal, the Junior Section of the Society for Pediatric Research (SPR) and the European Society for Pediatric Research (ESPR).
In this program, early career investigators will be partnering with experienced mentors to review a manuscript for Pediatric Research. Peer reviewing manuscripts is an essential skill for any researcher, enabling critical appraisal of the latest advancements in the field to ensure the integrity of scientific research and to support clear and effective communication. Under the guidance of an experienced reviewer, early-career investigators can develop the necessary skills for reviewing manuscripts while collaborating with an expert in their field outside of their institution. Once you register for the program, you will be contacted when a suitable review opportunity is available at Pediatric Research. After acceptance of the invitation, you can start the reviewing process as co-reviewers with your mentor.
To apply for this programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a member of Junior SPR or ESPR;
- Reply to invitations within 1 business day from initial contact by Junior SPR/ESPR to avoid delays in the peer-review process;
If you are interested in the program, please register by clicking here.
