New Partnership: Newborn Brain Society (NBS) & the European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR)

The Newborn Brain Society (NBS) and the European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR) are delighted to announce a new collaboration, bringing together two international organisations committed to improving the health and well-being of newborns and children through research, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Founded in 1958, the ESPR advances paediatric and neonatal health by promoting high-quality research, education, advocacy, and innovation across a broad range of paediatric subspecialties. Through its scientific sections, the European School of Neonatology (ESN), and the European Board of Neonatal Child Health Research (EBNCHR), the ESPR supports young professionals, expert clinicians, and leading Paediatric and Neonatal specialists from 'bench to bedside'. Mission: Developing and applying research to improve newborn and child health.

Founded in 2019, the Newborn Brain Society has grown rapidly into a global community of clinicians, scientists, nurses, allied health professionals, and families dedicated to advancing newborn brain care. Through international collaboration, education, research, and innovation, NBS promotes excellence in neonatal neurocritical and neuroprotective care, develops best-practice guidance, and supports collaborative research initiatives worldwide.

As part of this partnership, both societies join forces to develop new educational and scientific initiatives, including webinars, conference sessions, and more, to strengthen knowledge-sharing and collaboration in neonatal neurology.
