News from Pediatric Research – Annual Review Issue 2025, 2024 Travel Awards & 2025 Editor Apprenticeship Program

Annual Review Issue 2025– Call for Proposals (Deadline: October 15th, 2024!)

The Editors-in-Chief of Pediatric Research announce the topic of the Annual Review Issue, Summer 2025 entitled "Emerging areas in neurodevelopmental disabilities"- biomarkers, new interventions, new imaging, prediction intervention, bilirubin, environmental exposures.

This is an excellent opportunity for junior faculty to pair up with senior mentors to develop these reviews! Letters of intent should include a proposed title and be sent to info@pedres.org by the deadline. Please include "ARI 2025 Proposal" in the subject line. If proposal is accepted, initial manuscript drafts will be due December 1st, 2024. For more information, please click here.

2025 Editor Apprenticeship Program

Deadline for nominations: December 1st, 2024

The Editors-in-Chief are excited to announce their seventh year of the Editorial Apprenticeship program. This program is designed for mid-career interested researchers to gain experience and develop skills necessary for membership on an editorial board. Dr. Bearer and Dr. Molloy will be selecting two individuals each year to participate in this program. The selectees will be invited to join the Editorial Board meeting at a PAS meeting and/or an EAPS/jENS meeting, travel expenses covered. Exemplary Editorial Apprentices may be invited to join the Editorial Board after their completion of the apprenticeship program.

2024 Travel Awards - Call for Nominations

Deadline for nominations: December 1st, 2024

The Editors-in–Chief of Pediatric Research are inviting nominations for the 2025 Travel Awards. Winners of the Travel Award will receive a $2,500 travel stipend for reimbursement to travel either to an upcoming PAS meeting (Honolulu, Hawaii in April 2025) or ESPR meeting (Belgrade, Serbia in October, 2025). Winners would have up to two years to use this grant for one of these meetings.
Nominations should be authors of articles published in the print editions of Pediatric Research during calendar year 2024.
